Lorenzo Musetti (ITA/6) - Jack Draper (GBR/7)

After Alexander Zverev's commanding performances in Vienna so far, it was hard to imagine that the 22-year-old Italian would knock the German No. 1 out of the competition in three thrilling sets and after more than 2.5 hours of play. But that's exactly what happened. Draper also had to go through three sets. The Briton struggled for a long time to get the up-and-coming Czech Tomas Machac under control in the quarter-finals.

Musetti and Draper have met twice so far at ATP level. For the first time in 2022 at the Next Gen Finals and in 2023 in Sofia - both encounters took place indoors on hard court and Draper came out on top both times without losing a set. Things look more balanced in terms of the world rankings: Musetti is ranked 17th, Draper 18th, so everything is set for an exciting and close match.

Karen Khachanov - Alex De Minaur (AUS/2)

In the second semi-final, the unseeded Karen Khachanov, tournament winner in Almaty a week ago, and the number 2 seeded Australian Alex De Minaur will meet. While Khachanov only needed just over an hour and a quarter to send his opponent Berrettini home in the quarter-finals, De Minaur only converted his first match point shortly before midnight to secure a hard-fought three-set victory against Czech qualifier Mensik.

Khachanov and De Minaur have played each other twice so far and have an even record. Khachanov won their last duel over two years ago in Dubai.
